What is Coaching NOT for?

+Coaching is not therapy, and is not a replacement for therapy or care by trauma-trained professionals (trauma trained=  having years of training and hours of supervision related to trauma healing)  It’s not for clients currently struggling with suicidal thoughts, tendencies, or ideation. Coaching is not for those currently working through severe trauma without a licensed or qualified trauma-trained professional helping them through their healing process. Coaching is best when a client has a supportive community, otherwise the purpose of the coaching can be to create a supportive community. If you’re currently struggling with suicidal ideation please call the Suicide and Crisis Hotline at “988” for service in the United States.

Clients should know that as a Coach I am not providing psychological or medical advice and that coaching should in no way replace sound treatment from a licensed healthcare provider. I am not a licensed Medical Doctor, Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Masters in Family Therapy (MFT), or a Master’s in Social Work (MSW). Should you enroll in coaching, the Services you receive are not licensed in this state, nor are they regulated by a governmental body. I commit to providing only the services in which I have been trained, and if I find that I cannot help you, I will refer you to a licensed person who can assist you.

While coaching containers are customized to the goals of the individual, I typically help my clients with many of the following-

+ Learning the Language of the Nervous System- nervous system tracking, awareness of sensations and window of tolerance, ability to detect when stimulated, activated and dysregulated.

+Self Regulation, Resourcing, and Resilience- tools for creating regulation in the nervous system after activation or dysregulation occurs. Strategies for strengthening self-regulation skills so one can be autonomous and free of codependency. Tools for nurturing resiliency and greater capacity to handle life’s stresses and challenges.

+ Conscious Communication Skills- learning how to talk about one’s nervous systems responses, learning how to communicate needs, desires, boundaries. Learning how to navigate conflict- whether it's in romantic relationships, professional, etc. Practicing nonviolent communication and learning self-regulation for times of confrontation or elevated discussion.

+ Relationship Alignment- how to determine if a relationship is healthy and mutually aligned. Receive exercises or be guided in exercises to determine subconscious barriers to connection. Identify the areas of wounding that may be attracting the opposite of what is consciously desired.

+ Embodied Consent- how to live authentically and create as many win-wins as possible (mutually beneficial interactions with others). This goes hand in hand with nervous system awareness and communicating with the body in order to honor oneself and be aware of one’s state in their window of tolerance. We’ll go over the Wheel of Consent and its application in every area of life to create less stress and more ease.

+Waking up the body- tools and strategies for re-awakening the body for increased awareness and pleasure. How to reinforce the direct routes of pleasure to release codependency and encourage self reliance.

+Understanding the Unconscious Mind- learn how the unconscious mind works and operates in order to create desired outcomes in life. Learn strategies for healing and maintaining a mindset of empowerment and resourcefulness.

+Parts Work- How to identify our parts (aspects of our personality), parts conflict (“self-sabotage”) and how to get parts in alignment. How to work with our parts, integrate them, and validate them for greater congruence in our actions related to our conscious goals.

+ If applicable- we’ll go over strategies for creating community, navigating specific communities (eg. the kink community), how to gain clarity and understanding one’s own desires and kinks better, how to vet partners and facilitators, strategies for navigating non-traditional/open/non-monogamous/polyamorous relationships, etc.

+In Person Add-On Option- Clients can add on a Shibari Rope Ritual, Sound Healing, or in person coaching sessions with wheel of consent/ healing platonic intimacy for integrating coaching concepts on a physiological level, or inquire about a 1:1 Intensive or VIP Retreat to encompass all in one day or weekend.
